Bio

I am a wife, a mother of 4 (8 with their spouses), grandmother to 10, and great grandmother to 1 ... so far.

I got started in genealogy back in 1988 after my grandmother passed away. She left what I lovingly refer to as her "obituary notebook" in which she had clipped and mounted the newspaper obituary for about 90 of our relatives. Going through those pages and recognizing so many of the names there hooked me ... My husband recognized my newfound passion and gave me my first program ~ FamilyTreeMaker. I've since adopted Ancestry's web site as it's easier to get to and resources are greater there.

I love finding family connections and helping to piece together the puzzles of our past.
