Bio

I am a 10th Generation Thacher, who has been researching Thacher-Ayers/Harvey-Nathan genealogy for 25 years.

My paternal lineage traces back to Antony Thacher of Yarmouth, MA, whose father was Rev. Peter Thacher, vicar of St Barnabas in 1530s Queen Camel, Co. Somerset, England, all well-documented in John Totten's 1910 genealogy.

My father's maternal side has been traced to Victorian London: the Nathan family of grocers/butchers on Rosemary and Petticoat Lanes and the Isaac-Harvey cap makers/clothiers who emigrated to Philadelphia in the 1840s.

My maternal lineage is from the Holts and McKenzies who settled in Sullivan County, TN in the late 1700s.

The bios on my records are mostly the result of my research into censuses, wills and death certificates.
