My name is pronounced......My nah

PLEASE PLEASE, let's all be respectful about changes and suggestions. We all make mistakes.

Here's a new word I learned today.
COIMETROMANIA - (n.) an abnormal attraction to and desire to visit cemeteries. Can you relate?

Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano, WI
I stopped on my way to my parents. Three and a half hours later....I only got through one section. It's very surprising to me when a large cemetery like this with over 7,000 people still have several individual names that have never been entered. As the name implies...WOODlawn, this was a very heavy shade area I was working in at the wrong time of day. If someone gets better photos than the ones I have taken and would like me to delete mine, just let me know. I hope to stop back in again this year.

(June 2022)
Ashland, WI - Saint Agnes Cemetery. There are several photo requests for this cemetery. I'm hoping to curb that number and give those photo requestors some answers...and PHOTOS. ;)This was a 3 day visit while I had other family genealogy to do. I only made a very small dent in fulfilling photo requests here.

(May 2022)...to be continued!
Always good to go back home!
My mom and I stopped at the Assumption B V M Cemetery in Pulaski. I only photographed and walked section #1. We decoded some Polish headstones and looked for birds.

Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Bonduel, WI (I have a few hard to read headstones to up load yet.)

Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Hortonville, Wisconsin.
Started in June of 2021, it was only 49% complete at the time. Finished the upper east and started on the north side.
Update- visited in April of 2022. Finished the north side by the new apartments. Then the lower west by sexton garage. Just have to walk through the oldest headstones by the second driveway.

Athens, Wisconsin- this is on going....
Glad to answer questions about these three cemeteries.
(I have walked through every grave to make sure it is photographed and recorded. Jean Balz, sexton is helping me to be very thorough, as they would like to link the FAG site to their Athens Village website).
*Calvary Cemetery - Athens, WI (7/2020)
*Athens Cemetery (9/2020)
*Trinity Luthern (8/2020)
I will be going back and adding all the plot numbers for these three cemeteries. Also, I will be adding all the "No Headstone" listing from the directories. I will be visiting the Athens Catholic and Lutheran Churches for more info. and will continue to find newspaper obits and complete missing info. for these memorial pages.

I'm a dairy farmer located in central Wisconsin, who joined FAG to do ancestry on my own family. I enjoy documenting graves, so that others can find their kin. I'm very grateful to those who have helped me in my research and am happy to return the favor. For every memorial I enter onto this site, that's another memorial that has a chance of getting into the hands of a family member.
When my kids were younger they loved to help me fulfill photo requests. Now, most of the time its just me.

PHOTOS - I enjoy taking photos for your memorial pages. I try to get clear close up photos. I also take group shots of family members headstones who all have the same last name.
Any photos I have taken may be used by you.

For many descendants of the deceased, this single grave photo may be the last piece of visual remembrance left of a special friend or long lost family member.
My Find A Grave photos and the obituaries are added here with the HOPE they are discovered and shared by a loved one. Perhaps, I unearthed a lost marker beneath sod or weeds, braved the unpredictable elements of nature, or have done extra research all in an effort to find answers, provide proof and document what is left behind.

MEMORIAL PAGES - I'm willing to transfer ALL pages that are not related to me. Just ask....

"My goal is to get folks reconnected with their families, not to run up my stats. It makes my day to see folks "go home.""
From FAG member Kathy.

Always looking for the following names....DERRY, CASTLE, CLARK, BARRETT, FESSENBECKER, NEIDERHAUSER, GUMIENY, GUMIENNY, HEIDGER, BLUMENBURG, BLUMBERG, SCHWOERER, BRZEZINSKI.
