Bio

David William Palmquist of Kinderhook, NY.

On my father William Warren Palmquist's side, descended from my grandfather Amandus Palmquist of Bridgeport and Fairfield, CT, born in Kvarnaryd, Jönköpings, Småland, Sweden 1877 and died 1960. His wife Gertrude Anderson was born in Bridgeport CT 1899, died 1974. Amandus' brother and my great-uncle was Oscar Leander Palmquist (1885-1925) a survivor of the Titanic, buried in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport CT, with a marker newly installed by the Titanic International Society.

On my mother Pauline Ann (Aeschliman) Palmquist’s side, am grandson of Dennis Aeschliman, Sr. (1890-1966) and Lydia Keiser (1891-1984) of Wauseon and Bowling Green, OH. Dennis Sr. was descended from Peter Aeschliman, born Switzerland, 1789, died 1855, Fulton County, OH. Peter and his family came to Ohio by way of France, and the family were Mennonites.
