Bingham Farms is named after my Great Great Grandpa (David Bingham). What an awesome legacy to leave behind!
Another Great Great Grandfather (John McDiarmid/MacDermaid) was dubbed the strongest man in Scotland because he lifted a huge rock. His nickname was "Jumbo".
My 4x great grandfather is Benjamin Green, who came to Redford, MI in 1827 with his brother Joseph. They both served in the War of 1812 and came to MI from NY. They were the 3rd family to settle in Redford.
