I was born in Bloomington, Indiana. I moved to Greene county Indiana when i was 5yrs old and didn't return to Monroe county till I was a teenager. I am a mother to 4 boys and 1 Beautiful daughter. One of my favorite times growing up, was the days I spent with my mom and mama. It would always be early when we would go to mama's house, load up in mama's car and head off. It normally would start just as a ride through the country, pick persimmions on the side of the road, stop at several grave yards and cemeteries. Mama always taught me to be respectful of those that have passed. To help take care of them, so there not forgotten. Graveyards and Cemeteries have always been comforting to me. I can find peace walking among our ancestors and straightening there flowers or getting the grass off there stones. I'm ashamed how some are not taken care of, and I ABSOLUTELY HATE it when I see someone walking there dog in a graveyard. Its running around using the bathroom on my family, well may not be my family but its someone's and I get so mad. They shouldn't be aloud!
