RE: Almira Leroy I will have to look further, Sherry. I am in the middle of a remodel at home and my computer is not hooked up currently and my research is not handy at the moment. I will get back to you when things get back together!
RE: Susie Dieu Staley Hi Sherry, I do a number of bios and when taking my initial notes, I don't always note the source of the information. As this little girl would not have appeared on any census records, I likely came across "Dieu", the French word for "God" in a family tree. I changed it to "Olive" when I got your edit request but as we aren't sure, I went back and took it off her memorial. If you are indeed sure it was Olive, send me a note and I will put it back up.
RE: Phebe Woolman I will transfer all of the Woolmans to you. It will take time. I can send you all of the cemetery information I have which will also take some time. If I have to mail you some info I will need a mailing address. firstname.lastname@example.org.
RE: Phebe Woolman This cemetery is about a half a mile from where I live. I passed it eveyday on my way to work. It is a very old cemetery with many of the gravestones unreadable. I have tried to get as much infomation from the gravestones
Mary (Durrant) Ring Hi,Sherry, I have her birth date as 1589,but like you,I've seen several different years. Honestly,we will never know for CERTAIN what year she was born, but considering when she married and had her first child, 1589 fits. Mary died in 1631 and left behind a very detailed will. She had been educated,(she could write her name),she also owned several books that let's us know she could read. Apparently, she was quite the business woman as her will reveals! Regards, Susan
Maude Scrivner I changed her maiden name to Wallace...many cemetery lists don't specify whether extra names were maiden names or previous married names...but thanks to you and many others, such errors get fixed.
