I was born in Ashtabula to Merle John Eddy and Beryl Brash Eddy. I have deep roots in Ashtabula going back to Seth and Gersham Thayer,a lake captain and ship builders in the 1800's. My mother's family are more recent, coming down from Woodstock,Ontario in the late 1890's. My Grandfather Jack Eddy was a passenger conductor on the NYC while my Grandfather David Brash was President of the John Brash Co., a dry goods store4 on Main Street in Ashtabula.
