Yes, I truly have had my DNA tested withAncestry.com; 23andMe, uploaded also to FamilyTree DNA, and GedMatch. When I say - I have DNA Proof, it's the truth.

So be advised those of you who are still gathering information from Ancestry.com, Find-A-Grave and FamilySearch.com, DNA Testing is now PROVING all kinds of errors in shabbily searched ancestry trees and proving them incorrect.

Before you list -supposed- family history, legends and rumors, thoroughly research. Over embellishment of family histories and legends is unacceptable publishing and the DNA testing is now showing all these errors.

In truth, one of the professional genealogists comments about "some of the hilarious so-called research being conducted is deplorable," was rather embarrassing to hear!

Also needed, is the manner of presenting F.A.G. as a professional, viable engine for research. Our responsibility is to present our records in neatly typed, correctly spelled and punctuated formats along with accurate DNA testing and truthful documentation. Do we want our descendants to think we are illiterate, sloppily educated dolts...? I doubt that idea - lol.

So, when it comes to F.A.G., let's all take the stand that OUR work is going to be accurately researched and NOT JUST A GATHERING OF INFORMATION.
