Born Fairmont, WV April 21,1935. Graduated East Fairmont High School 1953 and Fairmont State University 1964 with B.S. degree in Business Administration. Active duty navy 1954 - 1958, member of Naval Air Reserve 1959 - 1993, retired as Senior Chief Petty Officer and P-3 Orion flight engineer. Spent 23 years flying the P-3. Retired Allegheny Power Company 1999 with 35 years of service in accounting. Retired, living on Bunner's Ridge near Fairmont, WV.
