Genealogy is a special love of mine, and since retiring, I have spent many happy hours finding and getting to know my ancestors. Because I am housebound due to disability, one thing was sorely missing: I could never visit their graves! I didn't even know where any of them were buried, not even my own beloved and sorely missed grandparents. I have yet to find them all, but imagine my joy when I found FAG and could finally see some of their resting places!

As far back as I can recall, cemeteries have felt like sacred and peaceful spaces, and I would love to explore more of them and take lots of photos. Instead, I try to help all I can by providing additional information to existing memorials whenever I can. I hope in this way to show my appreciation to all the members who have helped me and so many others.

I frequently read your profiles and find a lot of enjoyment in getting to know YOU. And sometimes I find myself so inspired by one of you that I add you to my FAG friends. I hope that is acceptable. If anyone of you whom I have listed feels that it is not an appropriate use of your ID, PLEASE let me know and I will remove you. I won't mind, because I never want to offend any of you.
