I'm mostly interested in my extended Green family in and around the Aiken, SC area. My Great-great Grandfather is(?) buried in the Green Cemetery which is just outside Vaucluse (actually located within Trenton). There are about 30-40 graves there (most of the headstones are missing, with only about 9-10 remaining) which include my Great-Grandfather, Botsford Green, and three of his brothers, John, James and Samuel, who fought with Co. K, 19th SC Infantry, CSA. (My Great-Grandpa was only around 6 years old when the war started).
During the course of my Find-A-Grave travels, it has come to my attention that those interred in the Green Cemetery were moved to Williston Cemetery. I believe (and pray) that this is a mistake. I won't be visiting the Aiken area until probably Thanksgiving or Christmas to check this out. If anyone can help me with this question it would be greatly appreciated.
