My family has deep roots in Vermont, particularly in Franklin, Orleans and Caledonia counties. I have been interested in family history for decades. I was the one who always asked my parents to tell the stories of our past. I find that a knowledge of my roots grounds me in the present.

Although I have accumulated a fair number of memorials, most of my work piggybacks on the work of other FAG volunteers. I take pleasure in "working" whole cemeteries, reviewing each memorial, reviewing vital records etc., with the goal of suggesting edits that will add accurate details to the memorial, link family members together, and help to tell the story of a person and the family.

Following his death on January 21, 2022, I became steward of over 17,000 memorials created by my friend Jack Parry (Member #48086999). I will try to honor Jack by taking good care of his memorials. Please note that Findagrave does not allow me to delete memorials created by Jack, even though I now manage them.

I am happy to transfer memorials I now manage to family members, even outside the usual FAG guidelines. You are also free to use our gravestone photos for your own purposes. It would be courteous if you contacted me before using photographs of people posted on our memorials.
