My dad's families were originally from North Carolina and Alabama and lived mainly in McLennan, Hill and Navarro Counties in Texas. My mother's family was originally from South Carolina and lived in Marion, Fayette and Lamar Counties in Alabama before coming to Texas. I currently live in a retirement community in Shenandoah, Texas.
