"To understand the living, you've got to commune with the dead." -- Minerva, 'Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil'

When I was a child, I always enjoyed visiting cemeteries and looking at old and unusual headstones. As an adult, I've developed a serious interest in genealogy, so the names on those stones mean so much more to me now than they did then. I often create memorials from death certificates and newspaper obituaries. I am human and I make mistakes, but I am very careful to be as accurate as possible. Please let me know of anything I need to edit and I will research it. I am happy to transfer memorials to close relatives, so just ask! I enjoy genealogy and making connections with other researchers, but I have met some very sharp tongued people who want to be contrary and confrontational. I have zero tolerance for that! There is simply no reason why we can't get along and share this wonderful tool to help us connect and understand the past. HAPPY HUNTING!
