Bio

I moved to Auburn, PA in 1999 and became interested in the history of the town in 2005. In 2007, I founded the Auburn Area Historical Society of which I have been Chairperson since that date. In 2011 the AAHS installed "Welcome to Historic Auburn" banners throughout town. In 2013, I created an AAHS website "auburnareahistoricalsociety.weebly.com." as well as initiated the installation of a memorabilia display room that same summer. I have recently compiled updated, accurate and comprehensive on-line registries for the original Auburn Cemetery located adjacent to Mill Street of Auburn, PA; the "old" or original St. John's Church Cemetery located adjacent to Pearson Street in Auburn, PA; the "Mengel's Eck" family cemetery located east of Auburn, and the two Fahl family-plot cemeteries located east of Auburn, PA. I have plans to also create on-line registries for the "new" St. John's Church cemetery located adjacent to Rt. 895 east of Auburn as well as the current Auburn Church of God cemetery located adjacent to Pearson Street in Auburn (west of and beside the "old" St. John's Church cemetery). The Find-A-Grave site has been greatly beneficial in the compilation of these registries as well as the general research of historical and/or genealogical information.
