I was born and raised on the farm in Nash County, NC. Received two degrees from NC State University. Served two years as Commisioned officer during the Korean War. Worked as Agricultural Agent and County Director for the NC Cooperative Extension Service for 32 years. Retied and established Woodard Realty in Johnston County, NC. Have researched the Woodard, Sledge, Wilder, Whitley, Hales, and Stancil families. Have located and cleaned up several cemeteries that were overgrown and taken pictures of the gravestones.
