Bio

I am a retired attorney. I am a member of the Middle TN Genealogical Society, Historic Nashville, Inc. and friends of the TN Library and Archives. I attended the 2014 National Genealogical Society Conference in Richmond, VA and the 2015 Nat'l conf. in St. Charles, MO. I attend genealogical workshops and conferences here in Tennessee and have traveled to Virginia and several counties in Kentucky to do research.
Both my parents had ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War and I am a member of the Gen'l William Lee Davidson Chapter of the DAR in Nashville, TN via his cousin's husband Ephraim McLean, who fought in the battle of Kings Mountain. Davidson County, TN (Nashville) is named for General Davidson and a plaque in his memory is on the West lawn of our Historic Court House and City Hall in downtown Nashville. Ephraim McLean lived first in North Carolina, then moved to Nashville, TN then several other locations before going to his son's home to live out his final years. He is buried in Greenville, Muhlenberg Co., Kentucky.

My parents had 11 children, 10 who survived to adulthood. Only seven of us survive today.

I live in the area around Nashville, TN and have two adult children both living in the area around Nashville, TN.
