Accuracy is important! I like things done right the first time (-- in industry, that's called a "DIRT FT"). Remember "Measure twice; cut once"?

I needed proof of info on my gr-grandmother for the UDC; and in obtaining it, I found that much of the information in the transcription of First Mineral Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Marlboro Co., SC, was incorrect. The only thing I could do was photograph ALL the tombstones and send them to the webmaster with the corrections!

There is one more tombstone I would love a photo of, in Lynchburg City Cemetery, VA, in the Confederate Section. "I S, F 44 NC" In Line 2, Row 5, Lot 200. The index shows him as J Smith, not I for Isaac.

I do this for others so they won't have to drive the miles I have to get information on their ancestors. I totally love Find A Grave because I can "visit" graves of family members who have passed on.

I am from Wake Co., NC, where I grew up, lived in SC with my aunt and grandmother while she was sick, and now live in Georgia. For genealogical purposes, I was born in Henderson, Vance Co., NC, on April 25, 1940. I hope my sons get that right on my tombstone!

I love y'all, and I'm here if I can help you.
