I was born in Montpelier, Vermont and lived in Northfield, Vermont the first fourteen years of my life. My family moved to Barre, Vermont in December of 1962. I graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre; got my bachelors and masters degrees from Castleton State College in Vermont. I taught high school business subjects for forty years (1971-1976 at Green Mtn. Union HS in Chester VT; 1976-2009 at Spaulding High School in Barre VT; and came out of retirement for part-time 2009-2011 at U-32 UHS in Montpelier VT). I found "findagrave.com" while working on my own genealogy. Being facinated with the site, I decided to help others by taking photos of monuments for them.
