Even before my interest in Genealogy or doing my Family History I was always fascinated in graveyards. There is so much history, and many stories. When I travel I like to check out the places of worship and graveyards in the area I am visiting.

I have been lucky living in the Los Angeles area as there are plenty of Star's graves and famous people. Such as Jack Lemmon's stone reads "Jack Lemmon .... In" and he is just a few feet from his friend and co-star, Walter Matthau. Fanny Brice is over in the court area. Another fun epitath is Mel Blanc's, which reads "That's All Folks". His grave is at the terrific Hollywood Fore Ever Cemetery. Have seen the famous Rudolph Valentino and Marilyn Monroe Crypt's. Even saw "The Rose" being placed there. My special favorite, Buster Keaton's small simple stone at Forest Lawn near the studios in Burbank.

I would like to help some one find their family grave sites in my area. At this time I am living in the Antelope Valley in the north of LA County.
