I am a Cosmetology Instructor for the past 20 years. I have been involved in looking for my own ancestors for the past 7 years. It has been an up hill battle looking for my mothers side of the family. Her mother was Myrtle Sumerel and her father was Walter Leroy Going. There are so many theories, but nothing concrete. So, I keep on going, searching for the Going line. I feel like these people lived and no one remembers them. They have a story and no one to tell it. I hope one day I can finish the story of both my parents ancestors. It is a dream that I find where all lines originated.
