Hello,

I've only recently entered into this lifelong investigation of our historical significance.

I'm in the midst of researching many of my family lines, primarily: Allen (WV), Day (WV), Duckworth (NJ) and Backhus (NJ). The Allen line seems to be fairly well documented... at least back to when a John R. Allen entered Wyoming County, WV. Day family is a little less known. Duckworth, somewhat documented. Backhus is a bit of a mystery beyond my grandfather.

Other branches I'm researching are Stewart (WV), Clay (VA/WV), Roach (WV), Daniel (WV), Stephens (NJ), Beatty (NJ), Haines (NJ) and Anthony (NJ).

Any help on these is greatly appreciated.
