I was not born in Lubbock, Texas but I grew up in and around Lubbock.My family and I lived a couple of years in Amstrad, New Mexico in the mid 1950's.After I married my wife, we moved to Sarasota, Florida for two years. I worked as a dry-waller and metal stud worker there, and in Lubbock. Attended Texas Tech University, School of Business Administration, Finance Major.Served in the US Air Force from 1965 to 1969 as an aircraft electrician. Basic training at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio, Texas. Electrical training at Chanute Air Force base in Champaign, Illinois. Stationed in Tripoli, Libya, North Africa at Wheeler Air Force base and at Web Air force Base in Laredo, Texas. I was in Libya during the six day war between Israel and Egypt. I left the Air Force with the rank of Sergeant. I served during the Vietnam area but I was never assigned there.Retired as an insurance adjuster with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Companies after 33 years. Spend 16 years as a field adjuster in Big Spring, Texas and 17 years as the Physical Damage Supervisor in the Lubbock (Texas) Regional Claims Office.I am married with two children, a boy and a girl. Two grandkids, both girls.Any photo I take you have my permission to use.
