Bio
I'm finally retired after working a total 47 years at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and at Emory University in Atlanta. I've been interested in genealogy and collecting data since I was in fourth grade when my teacher gave an assignment to create our family trees. Fortunately I had two uncles who had done a lot of the work for me. Now with the web, connecting with other researchers, and finding primary and secondary sources is easier than ever. Findagrave has become a great way to share information, and the photos are invaluable.
