Bio

Many FAG contributors and volunteers have worked in the Breckenridge Cemetery in Breckenridge, Texas. In March of 2017 there were approximately 7,000 memorials with about 90% having grave photographs. The cemetery workers are most helpful to all who enter the cemetery. Two of them diligently worked on their own time to identify the unmarked graves in Baby Land. A monument company in a neighboring county donated the markers. They are hopeful all babies in Baby Land now have markers.

The Stephens County Genealogical Society and Swenson Memorial Museum published a fully indexed Breckenridge Cemetery Survey (1862-2006). Copies are available from the Museum.

A gentleman in a neighboring county is an inspiration to me as a FAG contributor and volunteer. I so appreciate his contributions to FAG and the help and instructions he has given me individually and through reading his memorials. As he begins to scale back, he has transferred management of some memorials to me.

If you want to manage a memorial, please request a transfer using the “edit” button with a brief note of your family or personal relationship. I will consider your request, even if you don’t come within the FAG transfer guidelines. You have permission to use any grave photograph that I have posted for the purpose of genealogy.

I am grateful for all the FAG contributors and volunteers and especially those who have contributed to the memorials of my family and friends.
