I've seen numerous times on the Internets, with no sources or documentation father Jacob Baer b. 1766 (buried Rockingham Co., Virginia) but this is impractical as he would of fathered Owen at the age of 15. They usually have Barbara Ranck linked as the mother, but she is 6 years older than Jacob, again an impractical pairing.
