Bio

Retired military aviator and GE engineer. Only interested in creating/owning/managing memorials of ancestors; i.e. I'm not in this for the numbers. I do wind up having a few memorials with no family connections though, due to collateral requests from photo requests (can you see if Jane Doe has a stone next to John Doe? If I find "Jane" and there is no memorial in the database, often I'll create it and shoot the photo).

You have my permission to use any/all of my photos for not-for-profit, professional uses; that's why I take them. Please share. Credit appreciated, but certainly not required. Funny, guess I don't need to say that now since Ancestry bought this site. They interface with each other and often I get photo hints from Ancestry about my own pictures that others have saved to their trees; too funny.

Happy to transfer memorials, if you are related to the person. The closer to the trunk of my family tree and to my immediate family, the less likely I am to transfer (sorry cousins :) )

If fulfilling photo requests with your smart phone, make sure you have the GPS and your location feature on. That way it'll update the location in the system and future people actually physically visiting the cemetery can easily "Find a Grave".

Thanks to the thousands of contributors, managers, and maintainers of this website. Remember, those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. Hopefully we can all learn some lessons from our ancestors to make this a better place for everyone.
