I've always been interested in my own genealogy and once I stumbled upon this site, I knew I wanted to help others with their searching as well. My focus is trying to answer photo requests in my area (Marshall County Iowa) and can usually take a photo at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown as soon as I get a request. If you want special information (what stones are nearby, etc), please let me know. Given Iowa weather, snow will slow me down or stop the photography until Spring.
