Hello. I'm new at this craze of finding graves. Wow what a history lesson. I will apologize up front for any and all errors I may make in learning the proticals of Find A Grave. I live in Nashville, IN. One day I was cleaning out a closet and found a memory I had long forgotten. About 30 years ago an elderly man in Texas called me out of the clear blue sky and claimed to be a long lost relative. After a nice conversation he sent me 43 pages [front and back] of family research. Sure enough I was there. As I sat reading those pages I remembered hearing my mother say "It's your responsibility to know your family." So now I'm on it.---The oldest names where Waggoner, Vest, Ruddick, Davis, and Hair. These people are the link to my fathers side. Now I'm on the hunt for my mothers side. Those names are Coombs, Stout, Lockhart. Thanks to all those who have already done so much work and hope I will be able to contribute to this wonderful site.
