I am Great Grand daughter of Rev Christian Saugstad who led the Norwegian Settlement from Minnesota to Bella Coola in 1894.

I am also Great Grand daughter of Jacob and Elisbeth Nygaard (nee Fosbak)


My grandparents were Iver and Camilla Nygaard (nee Saugstad)

Many other families descendents are also Christensen, Widsten and Gorden/Gaarden families of Bella Coola and many more.

I have been collecting family tree information and stories from other family historians in both the Norwegian and Nuxalk in hopes to pass down the information to generations to come.

Eventually I will be adding all Interments but for now I am adding family and close friends.

The cemetary is on Sawmill Road, Hagensborg ,Bella Coola BC Canada, many Archives have it named as Augsburg Cemetary as well.
