I am currently researching my family history, on both my fathers side and my mothers side. I have traced my Fogleman ancestors back to the 1600's and my Shepherd roots to the late 1700's. I am still researching the Collins and Wall ancestors.My Shepherd & Fogleman(George & Catherine Fogleman)descendants immigrated to NC in the late 1700's and settled near the Alamance/Guilford line. George Foglemans homestead has been located in an area off of Clapp Mill Rd. He & wife Catherine were some of the founders of Lows Lutheran Church in Liberty NC.
