I started researching my family a few years ago, I started the research due to the rumor that my family fought for the south, some did, some for the north. Looks like they were loyal to the state not the cause. Pretty much all were farmers, loggers and blacksmiths. I enjoy riding around the country side on the old shovelhead looking in the cemeteries.
