Bio

I am a Tombstone Tourist: someone who enjoys wandering cemeteries. I find it similar to visiting a museum: an opportunity to enjoy rarely seen sculpture, intricate carvings, and amazing architecture, all in a tranquil outdoor setting, including art, history and culture.

I have had an interest in family history for many years, but have found, that the older I get, the more interesting it gets. I have found gravestones of family that I had nothing about, previously.

I have also found and 'followed' some descendants,
to more recent time and different states.

Thanks to all of you who are active in providing memorials and additional gravestone documentation.
It is a great tribute to "those that have gone before us".

All photos that I post are actual photos taken and owned by me. If you wish to use them for you own geneology, that is OK, but I would appreciate an acknowledgement. Any commercial use, of my photo postings, is prohibited.
