I got the ancestry research bug in 1997 when my dear cousin Betty Lou Arnold took me the center in Philadelphia, PA to start looking for my mother's family history. She had done my father's family over a 25 year period so she graciously gave me a copy of the tree to work with. Since her passing, I have continued my father's family back to England and Scotland in the year 900. I started researching my mother's family at that time and have continued for the last 18 years. Now that I am retired, I have more time and decided to start doing Find A Grave on all my ancestors that had not been done by someone else as well as having several of them transferred to me for management. I am researching the following family names in the Michigan and Wisconsin: Meyers, Cote, Tapkin, Kohl and Gentz.
