I have been hacking away at finding my McCann and Farrell ancestors for some time now. It doesn't help that many of them were short-lived, or unmarried! I have a fairly good trace on my Transue and McMurray ancestors. Everyone was located in and around Philadelphia and eastern PA. The Transue and McMurray/Weaver sides both go back to Revolutionary War patriots. The McCanns and Farrells appear to have arrived from Ireland in the mid-nineteenth century, so they are much tougher to trace. Any help would be appreciated!
