3. DIY - Records of Concordia burials can be found at the El Paso Main library downtown. There are 5 large ledgers which take a bit of getting used to. These ledgers include burials in the Protestant, Catholic, Masonic, Jewish, Black and Chinese sections. Catholic burials before 1912 are not recorded in these ledgers, nor are any burials after 1985. Contact Sonny Zamarano for burials after 1985. Locations can vary depending on religious affiliation, race, date of death, or other factors. Burials with "Concordia County" on the death certificate generally mean pauper burials and are not recorded in the ledgers. The county pauper section is in the northeast section of Concordia few if any gravesites are marked. I can happily provide copies of the general sections of Concordia.

Regardless of which option, Date of Death (DOD) is paramount to finding any location.
