For some reason I decided to search the internet looking for my great, great grandfather whom I knew to have fought in the Civil War. I knew he attended the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg and stopped in Chicago while on his way there. Well, I found him along with his photo and wow! Did that take the lid off a pot of popping corn. By that I mean information kept popping up all over the place. Unfortunately, in my amateurish enthusiasm, I lost some swell photos and dates that a previous contributor posted. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to get it back. I could kick myself.
