Bio

Following high school, I joined the United States Air Force and married my High School Sweet Heart after completing Basic Military Training. We traveled the US with assignments from my military career. I lost my wife in 2018 after over 50 years of marriage. I still miss her every single day. I am now a retired Baby Boomer from 2 careers. First as a veteran of 20 years' service in the USAF. My service includes a year in Vietnam, six years as a technical instructor and multiple assignments in the states. My job in the AF was first as an Aircraft Mechanic then later as an Electronic Technician and Supervisor. I worked on a number of different aircraft from F-100 to the B=1B before retiring from active duty. Following retirement from the USAF I received my FAA certification as an Airframe & Power Plant Mechanic and worked in the general aviation area for 4 years. After that I went back to college and received a Computer Network Degree. My new degree led to my second career. I worked for the Public School System of Texas in the Technology Department field. My second retirement was from Belton ISD in Texas at the end of 2010. After my last retirement I have been enjoying many of my hobbies from fishing, kayaking, camping, wood working and turning along with tinkering with my metal lathe teaching myself metal machining making small part and enjoying the learning process along the way.
