Bio

Since the Bi-centennial in 1976, I have sporadically worked on my Family Tree. Now retired, I work on it daily. A Big Thank You to all the fabulous photo-takers! Although I have been in New Jersey for decades now, my roots are in Wayne County, Ohio, Tucker County, West Virginia, and of course Pennsylvania.

I follow an update policy stated by Ed Rowlance 48611341 :
I welcome corrections to my submissions or requests for memorial transfers. When submitting edits for profiles I own, use the specific fields available for the edit when available. If you send a "free text" edit when there is a specific field for the data, I will NOT PERFORM THE EDIT and will not notify you.

If you submit information for a biography, please be specific that you want it added to the bio field. I will include credit to you (by your FAG number) in the biography. I do this in case there are questions or disputes about the data that you provided.

I generally will not update biographies with data items that can be included in the data fields in the memorial. This includes parents, children, marriage data, etc. I feel that biographies should be about the person and not cluttered up with relationships or dates. If you disagree, just ask me to transfer the memorial to you.

If you disagree with an edit that someone else has submitted to me for a memorial that is not a relative of mine, I will likely transfer ownership of that memorial to you so you can resolve the conflict yourself.

For requested transfers, I do not strictly adhere to Findagrave guidelines but I do ask that you provide a reason for the transfer request. If you ask me for some action on a memorial and I am not able to communicate with you (because you have messages on FAG disabled), I will ignore your request. Collaboration requires two-way communciation.
