I'm an amateur genealogist and graduate student researching a number of lines in my own family tree, and love using FindAGrave as a resource for gathering information. As a free and open platform, I think it is a great resource to share genealogical information and ensure it is accessible to any and all who might be interested. FindAGrave has great potential to make public "family trees" by adding parents and spouses, so I try to "suggest edits" and add this information as much as possible.

I am very thorough in my research, and only add information to existing memorials that is cross-checked from a variety of sources--if you would like verification of my sources, I'm happy to provide them.

I only request images for relatives I am researching--sometimes, I am not 100% sure whether the person I've requested a headstone for is in fact who I am looking for, but do so in the hopes of finding valuable biographical information (name, birth/death dates, etc.) on the headstone. I am very appreciative of anybody who fulfils photo requests!

I've begun to fulfil photo requests, and add profiles for any adjacent gravesites (often relatives of requests I'm fulfilling). If you're related to or have a special interest in any profiles I manage, please let me know and I'd be happy to transfer!
