Bio

I'm Lana TRUMPEY and I have been working on my Geneology, ever since I was about 12-13 years old. My grandpa lived with us for the most part of my life. He was John Elshoff and he would tell me stories of his life and of my grandmother. Grandpa would speak German and then I would have to remind him to speak English, because I didn't understand a lot of his German. Grandpa died in January 1974, when I was about 20 years old. So ever since then, I been writing down some things about my family. My mother Freda Elshoff TRUMPEY died in 2013 and was almost 98 years old. I took care of her for 3 years plus and she would tell me family stories all my life and we would visit different cementery and place flowers on graves of my family. So I'm still looking for more of my family, so I have been walking through cementerys, still find out facts about my family. It has been interesting what I have found out.
