Bio

I have done genealogy research for over 40+ years and have taken genealogy courses from the National Genealogy Society, and the DAR. I have served as a registrar for my DAR chapter and I currently do genealogy research to assist other DAR chapter registrars to locate documents needed to complete the membership applications for their prospective members.

My Wilder family has been in Alabama since 1809 and in Shelby county since 1817 when it was part of Monroe county, Alabama, Mississippi Territory. My Armstrong, Ticer, Stone, Dodson and other family lines moved into Alabama and Shelby County, Alabama between 1830 and 1850.
