One day while I was standing in the Steelville, Mo. cemetery I was puzzled, I know so many of these people buried here, I know who was married to who, who the parents, children siblings and family were and did not know how to make this knowledge known to others. Findagrave looks to be a solution to that.
I have family information on many of the families that immigrated to Steelville from Mereny, Austria-Hungry, once known as Wagendrussel and today as Nalepkovo Slovakia. Families that came to Steelville include Slovensky, Zahorsky, Henis, Jonas, Lark, Miller, Smith, Salzer, Gura and Stark.
Besides working on my family name I am researching Fox and Johnson from around Wayne County Mo.
