I grew up in southern Wisconsin going to cemeteries and libraries helping my parents with family history research as well as decorating headstones all around Illinois, where both parent's families originated. I've always enjoyed researching my family which we can trace back to the late 1600s in some cases. My husband's family does not have as much information and so I am now starting from the beginning to piece together what I can of his origination. Now living in Arizona, where I was born, I'm focusing on helping others collect information on gravestones that are not able to do so themselves as I fully understand how helpful it is!
