I didn't grow up with much extended family, so I became curious to see who I'm related to, and discovered that researching my genealogy scratches my "fill in all the blanks" OCD itch! My interest in genealogy resulted in finding and meeting a first cousin that I never knew existed! Outside of my genealogy research, I am a homebody, internet geek and pet lover. I work as a contractor for a major athletic shoe/apparel/sports equipment manufacturer, as well as at an ophthalmology clinic (yes, two jobs. what's "free time"?). I volunteer with two different pet adoption organizations.
