Bio

As a Johnson, I am a member of a Johnson/Johnston family heritage. Unfortunately, I have very little family lore about my lineage.

While Smith is the most common name in North America, Johnson is number two. So when trying to trace my genealogy it is really a challenge.
With Carol, my life partner's help, I am attempting to find the main trunk of my family tree.

Starting as a north central Ohio Johnson, I have only tracked my Johnson lineage to the southern part of the state, and a short jump across the Ohio River into Old Virginia (West Virginia). That's when the branches seen to thin out.

Other family lineage includes; Johnston (in Virginia or Pennsylvania), Erhart and Vonderau.

While looking for help, I will always try to help others.

Happiness is found not in the destination, but in the journey.
