My older sister started the research on our Burgess line back in the late 60's when she was primarily researching the Sanborn line. As a result of her research, she published two books, one for the Sanborn line (Josiah Fisher Wilson Sanborn) and one for our Burgess line (George Burgess). Since her research centered on the Direct Lineage and only mentioned the siblings, I decided to take on the task of filling in the gaps concerning the siblings off our direct line.

Our family history includes the following surnames: Burgess' & Spealman's, Sanborn's, Eaton's & Coffey's, Bently's, Clark's, Cleveland's, Paine's and many more.
