I just recently became "really" interested in genealogy while going through my late Aunt Shirley's records. She had been a genealogy enthusiast for as long as I can remember and spent many a countless days at local courthouses and libraries researching old records and microfilm articles. I am blessed to have all of her old meticulously kept records and print outs as I embark on the mission to continue where she left off. Although I live in Northeast Ohio (about an hour south of Cleveland and East of Pittsburg PA), most of my relatives are from the Parkersburg, West Virginia area. For the past seven years, my pre Memorial Day Week is spent visiting WV cemeteries to maintain and clean headstones and place memorial flowers. Having received a photograph myself for a relative in California, I am happy to "Pay It Forward" and be a contributor for any cemetery I am near in Ohio or during my WV visits!
