Bio

For over 6 months now my husband and I have been working on his ancestry. When we realized that he had 2nd great and 3rd great grandparents in this area, we decided to visit the cemetery where they were buried. The stones were broken and barely readable. We "adopted" the cemetery (starting with our family), and with help from the cemetery committee, have just finished renovations on 46 stones at Cedar Grove. It has given us a great sense of pride to have restored the stones, and also how we were able to help others who were not able to handle the renovations themselves.
